For the pilots
We hope that you appreciate this opportunity to qualify for the GP final 2014. Registration is free for all glider pilots worldwide. Final selection will be according to the SGP Rules, see the link Documents to the left.
This Q-SGP will be in the 15m class, but Standard Class gliders will be allowed to participate.
Wing-loading 50 kg/m2 applies for all gliders. See News for max weights for different gliders.
The Stockholm Soaring Club is the most active club in Sweden. We have been flying at Långtora since 1970, and have hosted many competitions, from Regionals and Open, to National championships with up to 50 participants. The location in the agriculture land between the lake Mälaren and the great Swedish forests is ideal, as it is possible to set safe tasks across farming land when soaring conditions are poor as well as long and fast tasks across the forests in strong conditions with cloud bases of more than 2000 m.
